The best fish and chip shop we have ever been in the fish was massive the chips were tasty peas beans curry and gravy all great the service was excellent Shame the stars only go up to 5 this is a 6 star chippy We could not beat the Meal challenge after eating for 40 minutes they boxed up what was left in 3 big boxes For 30:00 It was a Two half hour drive to check it out and was well worth it

Been wanting to come here since we saw the codbuster challenge on beard meets food YouTube channel. The food did not disappoint, the curry sauce was amazing, the fish and chips were not greasy at all and we all really enjoyed the meal. We had loads of chips left over for round 2 that evening. The staff are outstanding. Thank you for an amazing experience, hope to be back again :)

As always, really really good fish and chips. Whether you eat in or take away, the fish and chips here are brilliant. Our go-to is Large cod (massive) and regular chips (if you order large chips be prepared to order some sort of crane to lift you out of your seat). The home made pies (when they have them on) are great - especially the lamb pie. Everything is great. We haven’t tried them for a breakfast yet, but very much looking forward to doing so. Service is spot on, friendly and fast. I think for Fish & Chips it’s right up there with The Magpie, The Cottage and knocks Rick Stein’s for six. Nothing to fault. Nothing at all.

I've seen it advertised and all the reviews. I ate in the small but cosy bistro today. And it lives up to all the positivity. Great price, absolutely huge portions. Tates, great and fantastic servers. 100% recommend this chippy to everyone. You seriously won't be disappointed.

Out for a ride, and as we passed the chip shop the smell of fish & chip wafted across and enticed us in. Ordered fish, chips & curry sauce. We were then offered a specials version at just 6. We sat outside to eat the meal, didn't look a lot, but looks were deceiving, there was plenty, delicious too. We sometimes ride out from Lincoln just to go here, so that should say a lot. Staff are lovely, shop is clean and service is quick.

Was just a great place for breakfast - the Full English is massive and must have had a full packet of bacon on it !

Had to leave a review for this little gem of a place, we travel from lincoln to have fish and chips here, they have a takeaway and a lovely seating area, there is also a park for the summer nights if you just wanted to sit outside. The fish and chips are beautiful, they have mastered the light crispy batter to perfection in our opinion, the fish is incredibly fresh and tasty. We honestly can not fault this little chippy. The service is out standing and the young girls are always very polite, welcoming and friendly, we was even treated to ice creams yesterday and wow the ice cream was also delicious, creamy vanilla , seems everything they do here is outstanding, let's not forget the home made cheese cake ! Anyway thankyou all at Misterton chippy, we will be back again. Highly recommended to everyone.

Intended to have take away but the restaurant was very inviting and well laid out with old wood panels and great light fixtures. But don't let me take my eye off the ball, after all we are here for fish (cod) and chips, and I can keep that really simple.... FABULOUS, and top marks for the curry sauce. Plus the staff were great too. My food photos show exactly what good fish and chips should look like.
